Many writers compare life to a journey at sea. Before weighing anchor, the captain makes careful preparations. He consult his nautical charts and figures out the route according to the port of destination.
By doing all of these things, he can usually ensure that the ship, and everyone on board, will arrive safely. Such is the journey of life for a young person.
