What do you want to be when you grow up? For some it may be a disturbing notion to consider that even in our late twenties, thirties and beyond we may still find ourselves asking this question of ourselves.

How to Figure Out What You Want in Life

Your first purpose should be to prepare for the future. If you didn’t get into university as you planned don’t get discouraged. It is not the only way for you to succeed. A qualified worker or a well-prepared technician is often more useful and more necessary than a specialist.

If your dream of frame, look for it in the arts science, or politics. You can aspire to a great painter of great musician, or an author who writes a useful book.

It is good to do great things and to achieve financial well-being, but there are far better ideals in life.

Whether it be getting out of debt, running a marathon, taking a much needed holiday or simply getting in shape, we all have goals. Yet whilst we do have them, and we would love to achieve them, life or other priorities sometimes get in the way.
